“An unusual way to disappear” is Massimo Discepoli's fourth album. In this work, after the "prog" detour of the previous album, he returns to ambient / electronic atmospheres and above all to a more resoluted experimentation, always at the service of a suggestive and wide-ranging listening.
Each piece is composed of melodic and rhythmic phrases of different lengths, which intersect in always different ways, thus creating a continuous and organic sound flow, with the drums moving freely, accentuating and highlighting the multiple rhythms and melodic fragments that are generated continuously. The strong lyrical component of the album makes it accessible right away, but with each subsequent listening new details and different points of view will emerge. DOF LABEL
